Survivor of Bialowieza

As part of a grant from Jewish Historical Institute Association, I go to the United States to meet and record interviews with Survivor of the Holocaust Białowieża – David Waldshan living near Detroit and Martin Zafman living in Florida and David Fedelman, which are descendants of a Jewish family Feldbaums who emigrated from Bialowieza before the II War. Departure will take place on 11 – 20 of November 2016.

The letter of rabbi was bought!

The letter of  Rabbi Kopel Kahana from Bialowieza was bought for our Museum! It is the only existing document of Bialowieza Jewish community, which for several months was  circulating on the auction e-bay. The letter was bought for our Museum by Krzysztof Godlewski from Bialystok, on its own initiative in the impulse of his heart. Thank you very much!
